Board & Train

Board & Train at East Village is residential behavior work built for city dogs and the specific challenges of New York living: sidewalk reactivity, elevator chaos, lobby manners, leash work in busy pedestrian traffic, and apartment-life skills. Your dog stays with us at our indoor and outdoor two-story facility, the former home of School For The Dogs, with structured outdoor time in the private yard. Cohorts at this location run on a shorter schedule than our Houston Board & Train programs to fit NYC schedules and apartment-based re-entry, and we send daily video updates throughout the stay.

Enrichment Boarding

Enrichment Boarding at East Village is for the dog who already knows the work and needs to keep it up while you travel. Every stay includes 1:1 enrichment training sessions, supervised socials with carefully matched dogs, regular potty breaks in our private yard, and daily picture and video updates. Because we have an indoor and outdoor two-story facility, your dog stays mentally engaged and gets real outdoor time throughout the day, even in the middle of the city.

Puppy Kindergarten (Puppy-K)

The early months of your puppy's life are the most important for training. Before 12 weeks of age, puppies are in their critical socialization window. This is the time when they learn the most and build the base for who they will become as an adult dog. It is also when they develop a stable temperament, coping skills, and the communication skills they need to face the world with confidence.

Our Puppy Kindergarten (Puppy-K) Program at East Village gives puppies aged 8 to 12 weeks a safe, structured place to start that work with a CPDT-KA certified trainer. The focus is on socialization, communication, desensitization, kennel training, and potty training. This is everything they need to grow into a confident, well-adjusted NYC dog.

Group Classes

Our Group Classes give dog parents the skills they need to handle daily situations and challenges. Dogs and their parents come to these classes together at our East Village location, led by our CPDT-KA certified trainers.

Your dog will build confidence, learn better obedience, and improve their socialization. These are the everyday skills that make life with a city dog easier. We work on the real skills your dog actually needs in New York: sidewalk manners, leash work in busy pedestrian traffic, and confidence around city sights and sounds.

1:1 Private Lessons

Our Private Lessons are great for working on specific concerns and are fully tailored to your dog and your personal goals. Lessons take place in your home, with or without you present. Your presence is completely optional. Our CPDT-KA certified trainer spends about an hour with your dog, working on the exact behaviors you want to address, such as reactivity, leash pulling, fear, impulse control, separation distress, or anything else you are handling.

Lessons are sold individually or in 3-lesson packages.

Drop-Off Daycare

Our Drop-Off Daycare at East Village is built for city dogs who need structured days rather than open-floor chaos. Dogs spend the day at our indoor and outdoor two-story facility, with rotations between supervised indoor play, rest, and time in our private yard for outdoor exposure. Cohorts are small, carefully grouped, and supervised throughout, and we send picture and video updates to parents during the day.

Drop-Off Day Train

Drop-Off Day Train at East Village is dedicated 1:1 training during the day with a CPDT-KA certified trainer, built specifically for city dogs. Sessions work on the skills your dog actually needs in New York: sidewalk reactivity, leash manners in busy pedestrian traffic, elevator behavior, and confidence around city sights and sounds. Our indoor and outdoor two-story facility lets us train both in controlled spaces and in the private yard, and we send daily video updates showing the exact work we did.

We have had a wonderful experience with Revival's West U team. We took our Mini dachsund puppy for training classes and some day care and we will continue to take him for some follow up classes and day care as he matures. They make the process super easy and they really did listen to us when we shared areas we were struggling with. Their trainers are great and Mallory made the logistics super easy for us. We have used day care in other places and the groups were way too big for a tiny dog like Turbo, so we especially love the careful monitoring and pairing of pups.

I love revival! It has been so great for my dog. I have a German shepherd/husky mix that just turned 2 and he is full of energy and sometimes I didn't know how to handle it, but by bringing him to revival I've learned so much from having good walks, and just learning each time more on how to work together to have a better relationship with my dog ☺️!

Revival has been not only an amazing training resource, but also a little family for my high maintenance rescue pup, Harley! She loves her trainer, Bennett, who helps teach the both of us how to manage everyday scaries of the world. Thank you, Revival team and trainer Bennett!

The training, my young dog gets here is phenomenal. After the first day she spent here everyone noticed a difference. The videos that they sent to me show me how to be consistent with how I manage my dog's behavior so that we are all on the same page. It's incredibly helpful. I highly highly recommend Revival. Plus they patiently answer all of my questions and consistently figure out what's going on and give me great advice as to how to manage it.

What an amazing place! I send my 17 month old and 9 year old Golden Retrievers to play for the day each week with all of their furry friends. They both run directly to the entrance of Revival each morning they go and come home happily exhausted. To me, that means they enjoy it. The staff is fantastic, caring and knowledgeable.

I turned to Revival Dog Training when my pandemic puppy had rough time adjusting after the pandemic. He missed his socialization period. The trainers there worked with me and my dog. They were amazing! My dog is now good with other dogs and much better around people! I will keep going there for maintenance and he is also in their doggie daycare, too! I can't recommend them highly enough and we tried lots of other options! You won't be disappointed!!

Shibas are notorious for being stubborn and I'm so glad that we enrolled our puppy for 20 days of training at Revival! We initially enrolled our puppy at Petsmart but felt that it wasn't enough training and tools for our smart little guy. I love the fact that we always received 1-3ish videos of our puppy's training from that particular day so that we can track his progress! They really care about their reputation and truly care about the dogs and their progress. Thank you again!

My dog Daisy Bell needed to build her confidence around other dogs. The trainers at Revival met Daisy where she was then slowly integrated her into successfully being around other dogs. Now, we can go to the dog park and she can play with other dogs! I also loved the daily videos they shared with specific things to work on with Daisy! I can't believe I was going to accept the idea that Daisy could not successfully be around other dogs.

Revival dog training has been a great experience for our 4 month old rescue pup. They send us training videos each day that we can use to reinforce skills at home and our pup is so happy to be there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Her loose leash walking and impulsive behaviors have improved. I love that they are reward based and give her lots of treats for her hard work. We will continue to send her to Revival dog training.

Revival is flexible, knowledgeable, and supportive. Ruby has been working with Jess and Ana weekly since November and with their help she has gone from street dog to well adapted and happy household companion! Revival has worked with us since day 1 on flexible and changing goals and has been a favorite part of our team since the very beginning. We'll be clients for a long time.
